What an incredible year we've had. If we can just brag for a moment... we grew this blog exponentially in under 12 months and managed to launch a YouTube channel this year as well that's now reached over 53,000 subscribers. Holy vegan cannoli! We can't believe it! We're so excited to ring in 2016 because we can't wait to see what kind of magic it holds for us and hot for food.
Thank you so much for the love and support you show us on the interwebs. Together we're really making people see that vegan food is exciting and nom worthy! We think that deserves a toast, so make shake up this easy but fancy champagne cocktail tonight just before the clock strikes twelve and make a wish!
** makes 4 cocktails
1 really ripe pear, peeled & diced
1 thyme sprig
4 oz st. germain (or you cab sub elderflower syrup)
1 cup crushed ice
2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
1 bottle champagne (approx. 4 oz per glass)
To a cocktail shaker add the diced pear, thyme, and st. germain, and muddle really well until pulpy.
Add crushed ice and place the lid on the cocktail shaker. Shake well.
Strain into glasses with a few pomegranate seeds at the bottom of each.
Just before serving add champagne to the glass.
