It’s fall, okay. Summer is over. I don’t know how it happened so soon, but it did. I’m freezing! Anyway, get into the spirit and make this sweet and spicy smoothie and you’ll have all the indulgence of eating a piece of pumpkin pie for breakfast! I need a little pick me up as this depressing cold weather creeps closer. A can of pure pumpkin puree is what you’re looking for and it packs some health benefits like vitamin A, vitamin K, fiber, and protein.
I jumped right into the fall spirit and also made pumpkin ravioli and pumpkin spice muffins. Check out the video to watch me create all three, or scroll down for just the smoothie recipe.

Not too bad! I made this in a Magic Bullet and it didn’t blend everything to a perfectly smooth consistency, but the taste was still nice! Thanks for sharing 🙂
ya I have a vitamix and it is a god! I’m surprised the bullet couldn’t get through those ingredients!?!
Could you make this without the hemp seeds? I have everything else at home seeing as I just happened to buy a bunch of dates the other day. Would love to try these but not sure if the hemp seeds are make or break!
no you can def leave them out. For me I just add them for more protein and nutrition to basically every smoothie!
Amazing! We made with carrot puree and it’ s like to a cookie to drink 😄
Tried this and it was delicious, although a little too spicy. I didn’t have allspice so I added 1/4 tsp of ground clove instead – that was probably the reason it. I’ll add a little less spice next time. Thank you for the recipe!
I like my ginger spice coming through, so yes you can lessen the amount of fresh ginger and clove is quite powerful too. That could have been too much for just a smoothie! A pinch should do!
So good! Made it again this morning and am enjoying itright now! Have made this several times now. I add my own pumpkin pie spice and it’s delish! Thank you for all of your amazing recipes. Going to try to make the pumpkin ravioli today too!
