I like the quick and dirty recipes that happen out of nowhere when you’re not even trying! This is what I ate for breakfast this morning in a hurry before someone was coming over. Remember there’s no excuse to not eat a healthy meal in the morning. Get it together!

make an easy healthy vegan breakfast in the morning with these simple banana boats.

  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
  • hemp hearts
  • dried cranberries, finely chopped (optional)
  • coconut flakes (optional)
  • chia seeds (optional)


  1. Slice the banana in half with the peel on and then you can kind of pop it out of the peel a little by peeling it back slightly. Spread almond butter on each side and top with raw cacao nibs and hemp hearts. Fee free to add other toppings of your choice or some of the options listed. Eat the banana out of the boat with a fork!

    This looks incredible! I also like adding cinnamon, granola, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and even coffee beans! 🙂
