Who doesn’t love a smoothie in the morning! It’s the best way to get a ton of nutrition in one serving. If you follow hot for food, then you know that I love adding lots of interesting ingredients to smoothies to prevent A.M. boredom.
The pineapple chai smoothie will give you a friendly jolt of breakfast inspiration. It includes Vega All-in-One Nutritional Shake which is a whole food nutritional supplement that I recommend everyone add to their diet, vegan or not. I don’t use it everyday, but I use it enough to keep my diet balanced and get all the nutrition I need especially if I’ve been travelling or eating not-so-good for a couple weeks. It also helped a lot when I transitioned to a vegan diet.
the pineapple chai smoothie
This unlikely combo of pineapple and chai will blow you away! Blend up this goodness for a refreshing breakfast smoothie.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 C frozen pineapple chunks
- 3/4 C nondairy milk
- 1/4 C fresh orange juice
- 1 scoop Vega One Nutritional Shake - Vanilla Chai
- 3 tbsp hemp hearts
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp masala chai powder
- 1/2 C ice cubes
Combine all the ingredients together in a high-powered blender until very smooth.
