the pineapple chai smoothie

Who doesn’t love a smoothie in the morning! It’s the best way to get a ton of nutrition in one serving. If you follow hot for food, then you know that I love adding lots of interesting ingredients to smoothies to prevent AM boredom.

I think the pineapple chai smoothie will give you a jolt of breakfast inspiration. It includes Vega all-in-one nutritional shake which is a whole food nutritional supplement that I recommend everyone add to their diet, vegan or not. I don’t use it everyday, but I use it enough to keep my diet balanced and get all the nutrition I need especially if I’ve been travelling or eating not-so-good for a couple weeks. It also helped a lot when I transitioned to a vegan diet.

the pineapple chai smoothie

this unlikely combo of pineapple and chai is very tasty for a morning smoothie!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 C frozen pineapple chunks
  • 3/4 C nondairy milk
  • 1/4 C fresh orange juice
  • 1 scoop vega one nutritional shake - vanilla chai
  • 3 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp masala chai powder
  • 1/2 C ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a high-powered blender until very smooth.
