This is a great smoothie to try if you want to transition into drinking more greens in the morning. Trust us, you can't taste the kale! Plus matcha green tea powder is a nice alternative to having strong coffee be the first thing that hits your system.
ingredients (makes 1 serving):
1 C almond milk
1 frozen banana
1 C kale
2 pitted medjool dates
1/3 C shredded or flaked coconut
3 tbsp hemp seeds
2 tsp matcha tea powder
1 C ice cubes
In a vitamix or high powered blender combine all the ingredients until smooth.
