This is a dish that I grew up eating with my Japanese side of the family and I love it!
Drain the water from the package of tofu and cut into 1-inch cubes.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together low-sodium soy sauce or tamari and grated ginger. Stir in the green onion, reserving some for the garnish on the top. Pour the sauce over the tofu cubes and serve.
You can also put the tofu in a glass container with a lid along with the sauce and let it sit in the fridge to serve later or the next day.
