ingredients:

  • 1 C diced strawberries
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp raw sugar
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped basil
  • 2 oz. brandy
  • 2 C chilled prosecco

Instructions

  1. In a wide mouth jar mix together diced strawberries, grated ginger, raw sugar, basil, and brandy. Muddle the ingredients together for a few minutes using a spoon or fork.  You could make this a day or a few hours ahead and let is sit in the fridge until you’re ready to make the cocktails.
  2. Divide the strawberry ginger basil and brandy mixture into 2 glasses and add 1 cup of chilled prosecco. As an option you can also add crushed ice to the cocktail if you desire. Serve immediately!
