vegan mocha frappuccino smoothie

I am currently obsessed (that’s an understatement) with vega’s new formula of the all-in-one nutritional shake, mainly the mocha flavor. It tastes exactly like a starbuck’s frappuccino. No joke! I don’t drink those anymore but sometimes I miss them so! But I’m happy to say I can now drink a frappuccino for breakfast and feel great about it.

vegan mocha frappuccino smoothie

We are currently obsessed (that's an understatement) with vega's new formula of the all-in-one nutritional shake, mainly the mocha flavour. It tastes exactly like a starbuck's frappuccino. No joke! I don't drink those anymore but sometimes I miss them so! But I'm happy to say we can now drink a frappuccino for breakfast and feel great about it.

Ingredients

ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 C almond milk
  • 1 scoop vega one shake mocha flavour
  • 3 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 C ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a high-powered blender combine banana, almond milk, vega one, hemp hearts, and ice cubes until frothy and smooth. Pour the smoothie into a glass.
  2. If you want to make the topping, rinse out the blender and add thick coconut cream from the top of a very cold can of coconut milk and blend it until smooth. You might need to add 1 tsp of almond milk to loosen it a bit. Pour this on top of the smoothie and serve immediately!
