John and I make a smoothie nearly every morning! It's the perfect way to make sure you eat breakfast and start the day off with healthy food. This sunrise smoothie is the perfect fruity drink for the morning and we've got lots more smoothie ideas if you just check the bottom of this post.
1 1/2 frozen bananas
1/2 C frozen pineapple chunks
1 C fresh squeezed orange juice
3 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 scoop vega protein smoothie - tropical tango (optional)
1 C frozen raspberries
3/4 C coconut water
In a vita-mix or high powered blender take all the ingredients except the raspberries and coconut water and blend them until smooth. Pour this mixture into your glass. Then rinse the blender and combine the raspberries and coconut water in the blender until smooth. Pour or spoon this mixture on top of the previous mixture. If you like sprinkle with shredded coconut, granola, or any other topping of your choosing.
